If you are going to be “THERE”, whatever there is. BE PRESENT, Show UP and Give it your all!
— Keli's thoughts

Keep Showing up, when you are tired, when you don't feel like it. Keep going!

  • Always a breakdown before a breakthrough

When things feel impossible, remember this: you've already come so far. Keep taking the next right step, no matter how small it helps build momentum, it’s the only way forward. Your progress wasn’t by chance, and your efforts are building momentum. Finish strong. You’ve got this. You can do hard things! The rainbow is coming!

  • Life is HARD, but it supposed to be HARD. But it will be worth it. Handle Hard better!

Have you seen the "Handle Hard Better" motivational speech, which went viral in 2022. In the video, Coach Lawson explains to her players how so many people wait for things in life to get easier—whether that's sports, schoolwork, jobs, or relationships. "It will never get easier," she says dissentingly. "What happens is you handle hard better." She brings home the message that anything meaningful in life will require you to work hard for it.

  • Keep showing up! Showing up is powerful. Expect the results to come from your hardwork

Do it because you think you cannot

Become the person who overcomes hard thing by doing hard things!

Don’t fight or resist the struggle, show up and do it. Expect the results to come!

It all begins with an NFL Dream. My Father, Eric Johnson: NFL Player, High School Coaching Legend & Relentless Role Model. My Dad’s Memorable Story.

Eric Johnson’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. A standout free safety at Washington State, he pursued his NFL dream despite setbacks—going undrafted, playing in the World Football League, and enduring tough cuts from the 49ers and 49ers before finally earning a spot with the Philadelphia Eagles.

His path was defined by grit: working warehouse jobs while training, calling every team for a break, and pouring his heart into his faith or relying on his mother (Mama). In a deeply personal moment shared at his mother’s funeral—and later recreated on Father’s Day 2024—Eric recounted facing heartbreak and doubt, then emerging triumphantly. It was the only time I ever saw him cry, a testament to how much that moment meant. A timely prayer by Mama and Isaiah 40:31 came to Mama, then led straight to an Eagles call—and a contract, all because he never stopped believing but most of all my grandmothers prayers were powerful. (MAMA to all)

Transitioning from player to educator, Eric brought that same perseverance to coaching. A celebrated defensive coordinator at Mater Dei and other Southern California high schools, as well as a history teacher, he instilled in students and athletes the importance of discipline, determination, and consistency. Defense wins championships!

As my son Gavin navigates his own challenges in sports, my dad and I both continue to champion resilience: “embrace the suck,” take the next right step, and soar like an eagle. The eagle is a symbol of strength and perseverance. It has powerful vision, it’s fearless, tenacious, and it’s a highflyer. The eagle nurtures its young, and that’s something we should all be doing. We’re nurturing the next generation, helping each other grow, and supporting one another.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
